EEG Neurofeedback

Magnolia Counseling is excited about offering a non-medication based treatment for adults and children coping with impulse, mood and attention problems. Neurofeedback has a long-standing reputation of being a viable treatment for the symptoms related to disorders as Attention, Mood, Nervousness, Post Traumatic Experiences, Self-Regulation, Epilepsy, PMS, Head Injury and Learning Disabilities.

With Neurofeedback a computer is used to train the client's brain waves to stay within a certain range, depending on the desired results. The trainings are non-invasive, non-toxic and painless. Enjoyable and innovative computer software is used to keep the client's attention as they allow their brain wave patterns to be adjusted, and thus reduce symptoms.

Neurofeedback is fun and can be used with any age group from small children to older adults. Clients traditionally come to session two to four times a week depending on their diagnosis and severity of symptoms. EEG Neurofeedback is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
